New Vegas General... Bit of Minecraft...Future posts...

New Vegas General....[Spoilers Ahead]

Well well, here I am again writing about New Vegas, this just going to be a bit more general when it comes to talking about this game. Hope you guys aren't getting fed up with me chatting on with New Vegas in every post so far, but it is the main game atm :P (Look below for information about future posts!) Anyway, moving on to the game, I've finally made it to the Las Vegas strip and I've gotta say I'm quite impressed with the way the developers have done it! I was worried in case they had made it look like they'd focused most of their development time on this area...but tbf, they've made it look great! The place is destroyed, but the families which have moved in have done up some of the casinos and the surrounding areas in the Strip. Over all,I'm so far quite happy with area of the Strip! Moving on to the casino's, I'm quite disappointed with them. The trailers seem to give off the wrong impression of what they actually are in the game, you see a lot of people walking around drinking, hitting on hookers, and gambling, but upon my first arrival, there was hardly any of this going on! It just didn't look as lively and didn't really give the feeling that your in a casino! Not what I first expected, but hey it's okay I guess. Another MASSIVE disappointment I found with the casino's was the lack of gambling games. There is blackjack, roulette wheel and slot machines. That is all, I thought they'd at least have games of poker going on at least, but nothing to be found but those three games. So much for Sin city I guess...Overall..I'm not particularly impressed with the Strip and what it has to offer to me, sure there are a few nice quests to do around, you meet some interesting people, and I've heard you can get a companion from the outskirts of the Strip! I might add more later thoughts when I've done the game and done everything I can around the Strip, but first impressions aren't doing too great!

Haha, felt like I've yapped on a bit about the Strip and this was meant to be a general about Las Vegas, not a complete opinion of the strip...Ah well! Btw, I'd like to point out, that I think I've found one of the best companions in the game, they literally can take out so many NPCs in so little time, so usually I just leave all the work to them!! If you haven't found them yet, I'll give you a clue for those who are seeking them...They are an ex First Recon in NCR. They are extremely useful tbf...(God it's hard trying not to give their gender away XD)!

I'll leave it at this for now...I don't want to give too much of the game away and plus I just wanna talk about other games more now!! So I might come back to this again in future, but probably not any time this month again.

Minecraft....Pixels....Diamonds...Buxville....

When first introduced to this game, I think anyone would shove this game aside...Why? Because looking at it gives you no appeal what so ever (I mean pixels, come on, that's so 1980!!). Well that is until your hand is on the mouse and keyboard! This game is highly addictive and a hell of a lot of fun if you have the right imagination for it, because the possibilities are endless with this game! You are able to build whatever you so wish to! (I was shown last week of a cannon which fires pigs into space!!) Many people have built some hugely hard working pieces of work in Minecraft, many of which can be found on YouTube, things from as far as building their castles, to roller coasters to even the world itself. If you don't believe me, go check it out yourself!

This game also offers a chance to play offline or online multi-player where you can go on a world with your friends and get to building whatever you want. There are many current servers which are designed for role players, projects or people who just want to hang out!  Currently I've joined a server which is for all sorts of reasons, people can sometimes role-play on it or just go on to hang out with their friends. Personally, I really enjoy playing on this server, the host has done a great job with bringing in the right plug-ins for Minecraft and made this server a total enjoyable experience while playing. Why? The server has it's own currency which actually works rather well, court sessions, jobs such as Warlocks, Shopkeepers, Reclaimers, a huge city and plus a bunch of other little villages! This all builds into one huge community where players are able to make decisions for themselves or to help their city, sometimes to even destroy opposing villages! Either way, it's a really fun server to play on, and I would recommend it if you play the game! In order to play on the sever, you first have to be white listed. Search on the community forums for Buxville, send in your application and wait to be accepted! It couldn't be any simpler.

With Halloween approaching means Minecraft is getting a Halloween themed update which I am definitely looking forward to! Being able to explore the realms of "Hell" while fighting off fire ball launching monsters should be a quite eventful playing experience!! Also along with this, come 6 confirmed new blocks! It has been said as well that some of these blocks will have their own individual functions, but these have not been told to the public yet! Worries on our sever at the moment though are what is going to happen to the world with this upcoming update, is the world going to be extended for room for the new blocks? Will the world be cut into for the new blocks? Or will the world be reset for the new update? Either way, I don't really mind, this Halloween is going to be a fun one!

Psychedelic Mushroom Head FTW!!
All in all, if you haven't bought this game yet, I advise you buy it, it's still in Alpha, the offer is 50% off the full price, so it's down to £8.90 something, this is also a one time payment and all future content is free! A big well done to Notch for his success on this game and a shout out to Dan for introducing me to the game !! :)

Future Posts

First off, I'd like to give a big, massive thank you to everyone who has given me support so far! My blog has reached over 130 views which I am really chuffed with! I've had many positive responses through Facebook and comments IRL! Tbf, I never thought I'd stick to this, but the responses were too great to be lazy and not bother! All I ask is for your continued support and if you see something you don't like, let me know or just throw water melons at me! Thank you again everyone <3

Regarding future posts and where I am aiming to go with this blog, a lot of it has been about Fallout so far, I'm going to take a short break from writing about Fallout and move on to other games, I've already got a few more in mind which I want to write about, but I won't reveal which ones yet. In due time, I will be writing a review about Fallout: New Vegas, hopefully might be my first out of many! I am aiming to do a lot with this blog, hopefully might expand some day so it's not just about games I've been playing but maybe more things :) We'll see someday I guess! Until then, I hope you have enjoyed reading the blog, sorry it was so long this time! Next one shall be up hopefully either Thursday or Friday!! Happy gaming!!
